Cookie notice

Last updated August 31, 2026

This notice lists the cookies fikadesk sets, what they do, and how to clear them.

What this notice covers

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This notice covers the fikadesk marketing website and the fikadesk product. It does not cover cookies set by the websites of our customers, which have their own notices.

Cookies we use

The marketing website does not set cookies.

The product sets two kinds of cookie, both strictly necessary, for the people signed in to it. A session cookie keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and a request-forgery token protects your account from cross-site requests. We set these only after you sign in.

We do not set advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, which is why the product has no cookie banner.

The product

The website messenger our customers embed runs on the customer's own origin and loads from their domain. It sets no tracking pixels and makes no third-party calls. Outbound email carries no open tracking or click tracking.

Where a customer adds their own analytics or cookies to their site, those are the customer's cookies, not ours, and the customer's notice governs them.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies specifically. Clearing the session cookie signs you out of the product. Blocking cookies entirely may stop the product from keeping you signed in.

Changes

We may update this notice if the cookies we set change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
